At Zoothérapie Laval we believe in the natural connection between humans and animals, and we use this connection to help our clients improve their mental health and well-being.
Being around a dog, considered man's "best friend", does have mental health benefits. The presence of a dog stimulates, endorphins and oxytocin in our clients, which helps to feel more relaxed and calm, breaking the feeling of isolation and or loneliness.
Bobo is the only dog available at zootherapy Laval.
Bobo is male Pomeranian (Medium size Spitz).
The spitz is described in the FCI standard, (International Cynological Federation), as attentive, lively and attached to its master. The hunting instinct is absent. He is neither fearful nor aggressive.
Bobo was socialized at a young age and for this reason he is not suspicious of strangers and allows himself to be gently petted by everyone.
He is a graduate of the ''Centre Canin International'', he was trained not to bark and masters the following commands, silence, sit, stand, lay down, lay down your head, crawl, dance, turn standing, turn lying down, bang your dead, give the paw and high five, walk to the heel (with or without a leash), go play, come on, jump on that chair, get down, stay and wait for me.
